Questions people actually ask.

Do I have to type in hundreds of products manually?

No. Small catalogs (under 15 products) use the simple form — about an hour of work. Larger catalogs import from Excel/CSV in one upload. Enterprise clients connect their systems directly, so new products create passports automatically.

Where do I get the data from — I don't know my product's carbon footprint?

You already have most of it: materials, origin, weight are in your specs and invoices. The rest — carbon footprint, recyclability — the platform calculates automatically from your material type. EU rules allow estimated values in the early phase, and you can override with exact data anytime.

What if my product category isn't covered yet?

The platform works for any product type — today. The EU is adding categories gradually through 2030 (batteries are first — February 2027 — then the first ESPR wave: textiles, furniture, tyres and more). Starting early means you're ready before your category's deadline arrives.

What happens if I don't do this?

Products without a Digital Product Passport will be blocked from EU customs and markets. Batteries are first (February 2027), with more categories following. Non-compliant goods simply cannot be sold in the EU.

Are the QR codes official and accepted everywhere?

Yes — they follow GS1 Digital Link standards, the same global barcode standard used by retailers and customs across the EU. Any smartphone can scan them; no special app needed.
